What is the right age to take the OBISSS?

The OBISSS is appropriate for anyone 10 years old or older. Maine's OBISSS is set up for individuals 10 years old to 17 years old to participate in the youth version of the OBISSS, while anyone 18 years old and older will participant in the adult version of the OBISSS. For anyone taking the OBISSS, especially youth, it is important that they know their history of injury to their head or neck enough to answer questions about these injuries or have someone available that can help them with these questions.
